My guess is that Mr. Met went to Peru and this is his way of saying goodbye.

see ya Mike. Have a great time and let us know what the best burger joint is down there.

Traxx should make tracks. Terrible outing. Looks like Maine has a shot along with Williams at the last rotation spot.

Let Glavine go and put his bucks into Zitoman.

will u be back when the manager decides to name his rotation/roster for the postseason or when the magic # is 0.

it was nice waking up to espn this morning and hearing how the braves are mathematically eliminated from the division lead. sweet

Was anyone else as offended as I when Willie put in Ricky Ledee over Endy and Shawn Green? That's just uncalled for and insulting. Not only to the aforementioned outfielders, but to all of our intellects. Like we would just casually sit back and accept such a ridiculously bad call. If he pulls this type of shit during the post season I will be none too pleased.

Oh, and did anyone listen to WFAN after the game? They interviewed Paulie and much to my, and the announcers' surprise, he brought up Xnady. I thought it was a pretty classy move on LoDuca's part, said he missed him, wished he was still there, and even attributed a lot of their early season success to him.

Cool thing is there is a $20 charge for those who mention "Metsblog" at the door, unlimited (!!!) domestic drafts all night. Who's coming wit' me!? LOL
